The satellite, launched on April 12, 2017, was anchored in the 110.5 degree east longitude synchronous satellite orbit, providing 26 user beams that can cover China and offshore areas. The satellite USES a new type of satellite platform independently developed by China to provide commercial services of ka-band broadband multimedia communications, which can be applied in the fields of distance education, medical treatment, Internet access, airborne and ship communications, and emergency communications.
T450-ka is a ka-band vehicle-mounted mobile mid-pass antenna specially designed and developed for China star 16 satellite. Its main function is to meet the needs of the communication subject to accurately track the satellite and track it steadily during the movement, so that the communication subject can provide customers with safe, reliable, efficient and high-quality communication experience during the movement. Accurate and stable satellite tracking technology can ensure the transmission of voice, data and video between the vehicle station and the central station in a complex environment, so as to meet the communication needs of customers.
